The City of Jennings has teamed up with Paymentus Corporation and we now have the ability to accept water bill payments online and over-the-phone!
By using the over-the-phone or online bill payment service, you acknowledge that you…
- Understand that Paymentus Corporation will charge a $3.50 convenience fee per $100.00 transaction
- Understand that a $25.00 service charge will be assessed if the payment is rejected for any reason.
- Understand that your payment will not be posted to your water bill account immediately, but will be posted approximately two business days after payment is made… under normal circumstances. *** You should try to pay at least 5 days prior to your due date to avoid late penalties. ***
To pay by phone with Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card or an Electronic Check, please have your water account number handy along with a pen and paper to write down your payment confirmation number and call toll free 1-888-848-5467. (powered by Paymentus Corporation) After submitting your payment by phone, we will receive an instant notification of your payment and will post it to your water account the day the funds reach our bank (approximately two business days after your payment). For each payment, you will receive a confirmation number.
The online bill payment system is powered by Paymentus Corporation. Through this company, we can accept payments by: Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card and Electronic Check. After submitting your payment online, we will receive an instant notification of your payment and will post it to your water account the day the funds reach our bank (approximately two business days after your payment). For each payment, you will receive a confirmation number. We will also send you an email confirmation for your records.
