Street Dept. (Public Works):

The Street Department is responsible for maintaining all city streets and side walks, drainage, right of way maintenance, traffic lights, stop signs, street signs and city cemetery.

Items of interest:

• The Street Dept. employs 12 full time employees

• Approximately 70 miles of streets

• 387 intersections

• 17 traffic lights

• City cemetery is approximately 15-20 acres in size
